THE HUNTLY LOCK-OUT.
COAL FAMINE NOT FEARED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. Inquiries locally as to the effect of the stoppage of coal supplies from Huntly show no cause to fear any coal famine. The Gas Company has a large reserve and the manager is not in the least anxious. The Tramway Company is adequately supplied, having in common with other large concerns laid in heavy stocks for such an emergency as has arisen.
