CRICKET.

Last night a second attempt was made to liold the annual meeting of the Carrington Road Cricket Club, but was abandoned owing to want of a quorum. The secretary (Mr. J. E. Avery) subsequently informed a News representative that the Club was now defunct. Those who were members, and who intended following up the game, would throw in their lot with other clubs.
