SLY-GROG SELLING.

'IX THE WIIAXGA. DISTRICT. "Sufferer" writes to the editor:—! would feel obliged if you would call the attention of tlio police to the amount of sly-grog selling in the Whangamomona district. There are men selling drink in small quarter flasks, etc., to women in the various camps, and I think it is time the police woke up to the fact. If only the drink were pure it would not do so much harm, but it is a vile concoction which makes its victims almost mad. I hope you will publish this in your valuable paper.
