FIRES.
BLAZE AT WHANG ABEI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whangarei, Saturday. An eight-roomed house, owned and otcupied by Cross, was burned. The only persons in the house wero four children of the owner, Cross, the eldest of whom is 14, the mother and lather beiif away. Nothing was saved.
