KOWHAI DAY IX. FEILDINC!
By Telegraph—Press Association. Feilding, Thursday. Today is being celebrated as Kowhai Day. This was inaugurated two years ago by the Beautifying Society. Young and old are wearing kowhai. Lunre. clusters of blooms were sent to Wellington and other places.
THE REFORM LEAGUE. Hawera, Thursday
A branch of the Political Reform League was *'ormed at Haw era last night. Mr. C. P. Lindegreen, the organiser, explained that lor fifteen years the party liad stood for reform, and it was for the purpose of assisting it to carry into effect the reforms which Mr. Massey proposed that the league was being organised. Mr. W. D. Powdrell was elected president.
