The directors have.been requested by prayer and protest to remove the cause, but the directors have met these representations with the same consideration aa a highway man would meet his victim. "Will Mr. Matliews give that an, "absolute denial" ? Mr. Mathews ■■fays: "Up to the time of writing no knowledge of a reduced supply at Koru has come to hand." I now ask Mr. Mathews, did not the directors hold an investigation at Koru and stipulate that specific charges should be preferred against the management (everyone knew what the directors meant) .and that consequently' no one gave evidence 'further than that they declined to supply? ; The exact number of cows that are lost to the factory are as follows:—G. • Green 45 cows, J. Green 45 . and A. • Collins 34, making a total of 124 cows. ' Will Mr. Mathews give this statement an "abso- I lute denial"? Mr. Mathews knows very well that the cause of friction at Koru is not cheese v. butter, but the practice in vogue, viz., "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours"! The following resolution was unanimously adopted at the annual general meeting of suppliers held at New Plymouth on September 21 last: "That the Government be requested to send an expert to investigate, the affairs and working methods in vogue at the Omata Co-operative Factory." Will Mr. Mathews give an "absolute denial" to this? The above resolution speaks for itself and needs no further comment from me.—T am, etc.. IvORU CORRESPONDENT.
