QUALITY PRINCE.
Horse breeders and farmers will see in this issue a notice respecting the well- | known sire, Quality Prince, which is in the charge of Mr. C. Eevell, and will visit various parts of the district. The horse is a fine-looking animal, with splendid shoulder and neck, with good quarters and hocks, good flat bone of good quality, and a kindly looking head, combined with a kindly temper and quiet dispostiion. He has a splendid sdiow record, .audi his owner (Mr. Bremer) considers him one of the best sires ho has possessed. Mr. T. P. Trimble, late of Marton, but now of Okato, has four young mares by Quality Prince, and they are said to be the best in the district. Mr.. Trimble is very proud of his quartette. Horse breeders should avail themselves of the services of Quality Prince, who is travelling the Taranaki district this season, as some of his stock have been realising as high as £l5O in the Australian market, and his owner contemplates sending the horse over to Australia next season for stud purposes.Quality Prince stood five years in the Marton district, being well patronised "by horse breeders, which speaks volumes for the horse, and his stock have a great reputation as workers in the Marton and surounding districts, some of his geldings measuring thirteen inches below the knee and fourteen below the hock. So far the horse has been leaving only two colors, dark bays and black, the latter j being the color of his dam.
