OUTBREAK AMONG FLAX HANDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. Considerable!, uneasjhess exists among flaxmill hands in this district at outbreaks of typhoid at certain flaxmills. Four cases arc at present in the Palmerston hospital, one a very serious one. The Health Department is investigating. At a meeting of the Flax-workers' 'Union on Saturday last resolutions bearing on the matter of better drinking supplies than are afforded by the Manawatu and Oroua rivers were passed.
