Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, speaking at Bradford, said that it was no solution of the labor problem to uplift wages in order to uplift prices. Despite trade unions there was a bigger gulf between the man at the top and the man at the bottom than there was twelve or twenty years ago. Parliamentary machinery was bad, and it was necessary to decentralise Parliamentary authority and give the municipalities and Nationalists more power.
