QUALITY PRINCE is a beautiful dark, dapple bay, stands IS hands, has good hoofs, with black points, good flat bone, good quality hair, with splendid action, and has remarkably good symmetry and temper, measures 12% inches below the knee. Bess, who was sired by that celebrated stallion Thane of Clyde, imported from Scotland by the late H. McLean, of Invercargill, was the dam of most of Hr. A. Bremer's valuable stud of draught horses, and her progeny have been very successful at Tatanaki, Hawera, Wanganui and Palmerston North shows. Two yearling colts (Commonwealth and Federation), descended from iiess, took first and second prizes at-Napier Show, 1902.
