THE NEW ZEALAND ALLIANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Carterton, Saturday. The president and vice-president -of iihe New Zealand Alliance met the local leaders of the movement last night, and a programme of campaign was adopted. A resolution was passed that an effort will be made to secure two thousand electors' pledges not to vote for candidates at the election who will not undertake to do their utmost to remove the unfair handicap on the issue of nolicense and national prohibition.
