NICARAGUA.
FURTHER ATROCITIES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 4, 11.20 p.m. Washington, October 4. British, German and other foreigners have appealed to the American Minister at Nicaragua to aid three hundred refugees at Masaya. They allege grave atrocities, and state that seventy women have been imprisoned and ill-treated, houses sacked, and chaotic conditions generally reign. The Red Cross officials are working to relieve them.
