AUCKLAND RACING CLUB
A final reminder is given horse-owners tliat nominations for the King Edward Memorial Handicap-and City Handicap, at the A.R.C. spring meeting, close tonight with Mr. J. F. Ilartland, at .9 o'ejpek. At the same time entries close for the Auckland Clip, Railway Handicap and principal events at the A.R.C. summer meeting. - Nomination fees in each case are fixed at 1 sov., and a good response from Taranaki owners is expected. Particulars will be found in our advertising columns, and' detailed programme in the Referee.
AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB. Owners of trotting horses are agaih reminded that entries for the Auckland Trotting Club's spring meeting, which takes place on Wednesday and Saturday, October ]G and 19, close to-night with the secretary, Mr. C. F. Mark, at 9 o'clock. Good stakes are offered for all events, and should attract a good number of trotters from this province.
