The Board granted the request on certain conditions, and deeided to vote £2O towards the cost of the work.
Tho Petone Football Club may well be proud of the records put up by their teams in the championship contests. The club holds the unique position of gaining three championships, while the senior and sixth teams were runners-up. The liecord established by the junior team is very fine. Nine matches were played, all of which were won. The team scored 230 points, and there was not a point scored against them throughout the season.
