Rain has fallen on the west coast and in the southernmost fi' districts, and fair to cloudy weather has jjy ,l>een experienced generally. Forecast: .ej,Presept indications are, for strong westSX erly winds with a southerly tendency for a* short time, hut' a temporary rise in the barometric pressure will probably precede a further fall in the south, where the winds are likely to back again and freshen considerably.
