THE CORINNA. The .Corinna yesterday loaded 7411 boxes of butter and 905 crate's of cheese, and sailed in .the afternoon for Wellington.

COAL FROM NEWCASTLE. The Kamona sailed from Newcastle on Sunday for, New Plymouth direct with a cargo of coal. She should arrive here about Sunday;'

THE MOA. ; The Moa is due here to-morrow from Westport .with a full cargo of coal.

ROSAMOND TO BE WITHDRAWN. The Rosamond, according to advice received locally, is to be withdrawn from the Wellington-New Plymouth service and is to be replaced by the Haupiri, a slightly larger vessel tind with an extra 100-h.p. to her credit. The Rosamond is due in Wellington to-day from Onehunga, and for the future she will be confined to the Gisborne run.

NEW VESSELS., The New Zealand Shipping Co. is in the Home ship-building market for the construction of a large high-class passenger steamer for the service between London and New Zealand. The Blackball Coal Company ha 3 a collier now building at Home for delivery early next'year.''• The vessel will have a coal-carrying capacity of 2500 tons, as compared with the company's Ngatoro, which carries about 1350 tons.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.'s steamer Arawa is due at Wellington on Thursday morning.
