Two motor-cars, en route to Hawkesbury Races, collided, and a chauffeur named Greig was killed and three passengers injured, one seriously. Brisbane, September 29. A motor-car overturned, and the driver, Laidlaw, was killed and one passenger injured.

New York, September 28. At Norway, in Maine, a train hit an automobile, killed three men and injured two students. The car was wrecked.
