BOXING.

THE AUSTRALIAN CHAM- ' PIONSHIPS.

By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.

Sydney, September 27. At the banquet in connection with the amateur boxing championships, the manager of the Queensland team declared that in his opinion some of the men who won did not get a decision. He took strong exception to the management appointing professionals as officials at an amateur tournament.

Mr. W. Atack, Now Zealand manager, in the main supported these opinions. He added that if the championships had been fought in New Zealand three-quar-ters of the boxers would have been disqualified for hits in the break-away, which were foul.
