Sir Francis Trippell and others are organising a €250.000 fund on behalf of Imperial preference and tariff reform. The founder- at a dinner subscribed £21.250, including the Duke of Bedford's subscription of £SOOO. and sixteen other subscriptions of £IOOO each.
