HORSE STEALING. • By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Tuesday. Gustav Rudolph Friecken who was released after being committed for sentence in the Supreme Court owing to the warrant papers not being in order pleaded guilty to-day before the magistrate on the original charge of horse stealing. He was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment with hard labor.
