MURDERERS SING COMIC SONGS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 24, 8.54 p.m. Suva, September 24. At the Supreme Court two Indians were charged with murder. In one case the accused attacked his victim, an Indian overseer, with an open knife, and almost severed his head from his body. The other cut his paramour's throat in a fit of jealousy. Both were sentenced to death, and were escorted to the gaol singing comic songs.
