The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, in conjunction with Messrs. W. H. H. Young and Co., will offer at the Stratford yards on Tuesday next, 750 head of mixed cattle of which a considerable proportion prises springing and yearling heifers and youig stock generally. The -Attention of farmers r is. directed to an advertisement in to-day's issue having reference to an important land sale by the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Hamilton. •• : The Waharoa estate, of rich level.tend, Containing 31 sections, largely first-class swamp, varying in areas from 100 to 150 acres, will be offered. The land is adjacent to a railway station and three creameries, and adjoining the well-known Matamata estate. It has only been recently acquired from the native owners. A portion of the estate has been divided in one-acre lots for township properties, which, will also foe offered for sale.
The morning service in the Whiteley Memorial Church to-morrow .will be conducted by the Rev. E. J. Liddell; and in the evening the Rev. J. W. Burton will deliver one of the series of special addresses, "How Science Aids Faith." White and Sons have their new range of embroideries now ready for inspection.
