HOCKEY.
TOURNAMENT AT TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Twenty teams, including some from Ashburton and Waimate, took part in a hockey tournament this afternoon, -in fine weather. Ashburton won the senior men's division, after five strenuous spells with Te Rangi (Timaru), by 1 to nil. In the junior division, St. Mary's beat Ashburton, 2—nil. Of eight ladies' teams, High School won from Waimato by one goal to nil.
