RAILWAY DISASTER.
A CHILD'S MARVELLOUS ESCAPE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London. September 18. As the result of the Wiudes railway disaster, the fireman, Ditton, has died from his injuries, and three others are in a critical condition. A baby girl had a marvellous escape. Her dying mother held her tightly, and the infant was found among the debris uninjured. The railway officials suggest that the train, which was late, was endeavoring to make up time.
