The following weather summary and forecast was issued by the Government Meteorological Bureau:— Summary.—The barometer rose during the night, but is now falling everywhere, with increasing cloudiness in all parts of the country. North-easterly winds, strong to a gale, are reported this afternoon, but strong westerlies have predominated. Forecast.—Present indications are for misty and cloudy weather, with rain following in all parts of the country. Northerly and easterly winds, strong to a gale, and a falling barometer every•wh'ere.
