P4SSIVE-RESISTERS FINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Eltham, Last Night. Nearly twenty youths were before Mr. Kenrick, S.M., to-day for failing to comply with the Defence Act. Four were given an opportunity to make up their arrears. Six w ere fined 10s and 7s costs, two were fined 20s and 7s costs, and one 40s- and 7s costs. Several were convicted without a fine, and some charges were withdrawn.
