INGLEWOOD NEWS.
(From our own correspondent.) The ordinary monthly meeting of the M»«, Fanners' Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., was held on Monday, September 10, in the company's office. Present: Messrs J*nes (chairman) Brittain, Butler, Egard, M. Mahon, Stachurski, and Williams. The Chairman reported having attended the annual meeting of the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works, Co., Ltd., held at New Plymouth on August 30. The chairman and Mr Butler were instructed to dispose of the old skim-milk weighers. Mr Jones gave notice that, he would move at next meeting, that the resoiuttrm passed at a meeting held on 7th inst., nairely, "That Messrs Jones, Brittain, and Egard be appointed a butter committee" be rescinded. The Kaimata Dairy Co. wrote asking that the Moa Dairy Co. appoint a small committee to meet some of their directors at Kaimatx and arrange re cleaning out and opoai.ng up the little creek into which the drainage from their cheese factory and the Moa Cooperative's Creamery will run. - 1: was decided to lesu'e the matter over until the next monthly meeting. It was decided to finance the purchase of a iaihe. for one of the employees, it being decided that a saving in repairs wouid thus be effected. A sub-committee, consisting of Messrs Jones, Brittain, and Williams was set up to wait on Hie Electric Light Committee re powei' for factory. Transfer of shares as applied for were ;>eeo|)ted. It was decided to pay out Uy 3 d per lb for August butter-fat. The secretary was instructed to notify shareholders who were liable for more shares on their Is.at season's supply. Accounts amounting to £1402 12s Id, of which £1022 10s 3d wan for butter-fat, were passed for payment. The annual meeting of the Ingl?wocd Cricket Club, t» have been held on Thursday last, lapsed for want of a quo aim.
