THE ÜBIQUITOUS YANKEE. By Cable—Press Association— Copyright. Received 18, 10.15 p.m. Sydney, September 18. Mr. Mcintosh has received a letter from the Hon. Stephen Jones, of Boston, asking him to arrange a fight with Johnson. Amongst his qualifications he mentions that lie split a door and a two-inch plank with his bare fist, without breaking the skin. He claims that he strikes harder and quicker than Johnson.
