THE LEAGUE GAME. DEANE NOT TO BE PLAYED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. A telegram has been sent to the manager of the New South Wales League team at Pnlmerston North that if they intend playing Dean, the match with Auckland would be cancelled. Mr. Millar replied that they would recognise the authority of the New Zealand League. On his arrival here to-day Mr. Miller informed the League Council that their decision would be observed, and Dearie would not be included in the team. Mr. Ferguson has been appointed referee.
