A BLAZE AT MARTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Marton, Tuesday. , The Junction Hotel ;it Marton, owned by Robert Hunt, had a narrow escape" from destruction by lire at 2 this morning. The billiard saloon owned by Mr. Hunt and leased by A. W. Hurst, to"ether with the contents of the hairdressing saloon and tobacconist shop, were totally destroyed, and also the wasli-liouse, store-room and contents, adjacent to the hotel. The hotel was saved by the efforts of the stationniaster and stall". The hotel-was insured for £I3OO. The damage is estimated at about £500." The billiard ream, etc.. is valued at £400,. and insured for £250. Mr. Hurst has a policy on his stock in the Guardian Fire Office of £l5O.
