THE NECESSITY FOR UNION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, September 13. At the annual meeting of the Employers' Federation the president made "a strong appeal to every employer to join their ranks, in order to combat union aggression. Many employers, who had not the courage to stand up against an unseen power and the depredations of such a combination, bowed the knee to the unions, thus giving the impression that non-resistance meant acquiescence in and approval of their methods.
