XEW PLYMOUTH WOOL, SHEEPSKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE.

Messrs L. A. Nolan and Co. report as follows:—We held our usual four-weekly sale of above on August 27. We submitted a big catalogue to good competi'tion to a representative lot of buyers and prices all round were extremely satisfactory. Heavy hides maintained las'* month's rates; l'ight and medium were inclined to advance. Skins sold at a slight advance all round, this being particularly noticeable in all lines good enough for shipment. We submitted only a small quantity of wool, which changed hands at a slight advance on last month's rates. Tallow advanced about 5s per ton all round. We quote: Hides—Cow, heavy ordinary.
