October S: Medal match, for Miss Read's prize. The following is the draw for the sec* ond round of the championship, to be played on September 25: —McCord plays Ward and W. Bewley plays A. Bewley. On account of the postponement of the second round of the championship, the programme of matches for the balance of the season has been altered and I re-arranged as follows: — Sept. 14: Bogey handicap. Sept. 21: Teams' match (probably return match, married y. single). Sept. 28: Second round championship. Oct. 5: Championship final (38 holes).' Oct. 12: St. Andrews' Cross and junior medal handicap. Oct. 10: Mixed foursomes and presentation of prizes.
