PLOUGHING COMPETITION.
THE ENTRIES. The following entries have been received for the North Taranaki Ploughing Association's match on Thursday:— Class 1, double-furrow—Amu Patu, J. Vickery, P. Jennins, L. Tate, R. Tate, C. Foreman. Class 2, single-furrow—H, H. Giddy, J. Taylor, A. D. Beauchamp. Class 3, deep ploughing—G. H. Hodson. It has been decided to extend the time of entry to 5 p.m. this evening. From the numerous enquiries being made, the jumping and other events will fill well, and an enjoyable day should result.
