For a nervous headache or one following a too strenuous day a simple means of alleviation is to remove the pressure of the blood on the brain by soaking the feet in water as hot as can be borne. The blood is drawn quickly to the feet, and the brain is thus relieved of pressure. A teaspoonful of mustard added to the water will effect a relief when the former method fails.
