m •'■""* THE LADIES* TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last Night. The New Zealand ladies' hockey tournament commences at Sydenham Park o» Saturday and will continue throughout the following week. Six matches will be played daily. Fourteen teams ar« competing. The tournament promise*to be the most successful yet held, although it was arranged at very short notice. The Auckland, Hawke's Bay and Nelson teams arrived to-day and; others are expected to-morrow.
