THE LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Lut Night. The third day's play of the New Zealand ladies' championship took place today. The chief event was the third round of the championship, in which easy wins were registered, except in the ease of Mrs. Slack v. Miss G. Gorrie, which proved the most interesting contest so far in the tournament. Mrs. Slack was three down at the fifth hole, and at the fourteenth hole, and fighting a splendid uphill game won by one up. Mrs. Guy Williams won the senior class of the Donnelly Cup with a net score of 80, the best score yet recorded in the tournament. Mesdames Bruce and Donald, with a gross score of 89 each, woa the junior division. The teams match fell easily to Wellington A. The results were as follows: CHAMPIONSHIP. THIRD ROUND.
