ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
TIRED OF LIFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Thames, Monday. Albert Vince, aged 32, whose parents reside at Port Albert, shot himself in the breast. He was employed on the Hauraki Plains. He shows -slight improvement since his removal to the hospital. He said he was tired of life and intended to end it all. The bullet has not been extracted. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. Dunedin, Last Night. A young man named Sweete, an electrician, was being taken into the hospital at 3.45 this afternoon, when lie auddenly expired at the door. The cause of death was heart failure. DROWNING FATALITY. Gveymouth, Last Night. About seven o'clock to-night Thos. R. Williams, cook and steward on the Opouri, now in port, slipped on the gangway while going aboard, and fell into the river and was drowned. The police are dragging for the body, which has not yet been recovered.
