WOOTTON CAUTIONED. . By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, August 29. The Jockey Club cautioned Stanley Wootton for his riding at York. A PROSPEROUS CLUB. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christehuroh, Last Night. The Canterbury Jockey Club has drawn up a programme for the season 1912-13. A considerable increase of stakes was decided on. At the recent Grand National meeting the stakes were £4OO more, than last year, while at the November meeting £I2BO additional will be given, and ft the autumn meeting £520 more will be offered. The summer meeting is now limited to one day, but the stakes will total £lBlO, as compared with £2220 foe two days last season. The stakes at each meeting this season are:—Grand National meeting .COS 10. Spring meeting £17,420, Summer meeting £lBlO, Autumn meeting £(>7(so, making a total of £32,800. Among the principal events affected are: Stewards' Handicap now worth £ISOO, Canterbury Cup £IOOO, Electric Plate £SOO, and I Great Autumn Handicap £I3OO, For I the season 1913-14 the Derby Stake? ' will he worth £ISOO and the Champagne .Stakes £IOOO, The programme committee has also been instructed to make substantial increases to stakes to be given for the next Grand National meeting. With the exception of the Electric Plato there is no race on the programme for three-year-old and upwards run over a less distance than six furlongs.
