*. ; SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. The Meteorological Bureau issued the following weather summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—S'immary: The barometer has fallen everywhere, with increasing cloudiness and drizzling rain in the Bortbera and southernmost districts and on the west coast of the South Island. Freshening northerly winds ; revail, especially over the South Island, and a westerly stonn aroa appears to be enTeloping the country. Forecast: Present indications are for increasing north«ly winds and cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally, ud heavy on the west coast of the Sooth Island. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, but a rise is due after from 24 to 36 hours, when the Winds will change to a south-westerly direction. _i. ! _*.iUU
