INGLEWOOD NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent). An extraordinary general meeting ot the Moa Ua'ny Company was held on Saturday last to conlirm the special resolution passed at the annual meeting of the company, to alter their memorandum of association so as to enable them to start a store to ivtail goods to their shareholders in bulk. Mr. Jones, chairman of directors, presided over an attendance of 38 shareholders. After a lot of argument for and against the proposal, a poll was taken, which resulted in the resolution being confirmed by 240 Totes to 116. Last Friday afternoon a little mild excitement was caused in town by a collision between a motor car and e, motoi cycle. Fortunately no one was injured. The spell of mild spring weather that we have Ven experiencing for the last few weeks has been spoilt by a couple of severe frosts during the last two nights. This, vvill unfortunately retard the growth of the new grass. All the factories and creameries in the district are in full swing again, and the old falniHar. 'sight of milk carts reminds us of coming summer. The Ibutter-buyera will soon be bidding good-bye to this district for another year, as the Moa and the Maketawa companies have both decided to consign their coming season's outputs, the former through Messrs Jos.
