"THE DANDIES." When Mr. Edward Branscombe introduced "The Dandies" to the Dominion he felt assured that they would become popular favorites. The enormous sue; cess of Iris pioneer' costfunre comedy company, "The Scarlet' Troubadours/' was the deciding factor which caused Mr. Branscombe to send "The Dandies" to New Zealand. "The Eed Dandies," to give thein the color which distinguishes them from similar companies under Mr. Branscombe's direction, ran a phenomenally, successful season of eight weeks in the Wellington Town IJall.. They are at present in their seventh week at Auckland, where the success attained in the southern city has Ueen repeated. The merit of "The Dandies'" performances is undeniable, and it counts for much when it is understood that the same combination can run.for such a. length, of time in any one city and only change their programme! once a week. The reputation of "The Dandies" has preceded them, and the announcement that this clever company will appear in New Plymouth on Tuesday evening next ha« been received with gr-eat- satisfaction. Popular priocs will be charged. The box plan opens at Collier's on Thursday morning.
