NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The second qualifying round for tho championship was played on Saturday in perfect weather. The greens were in excellent condition and not so fast aa hitherto. In the medal matches, which were played concurrently, the senior was won by Ward and J. W. Haslam second, provided neither wins the championship or is runner-up. The junior competition was won by N.
