DEATH IN THE CUP.
I POISONOUS LIQUOR. MEN DIE IN AWFUL AGONY. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 25, 5.5 p.m. Ottawa, August 24. A number of additional deaths have occurred from the bad whisky. The death-roll is now eleven. Two foreigners have been arrested, charged with manslaughter. It is alleged that they procured the deadly liquor in the United States, and smuggled it into Canada. The police search located several bodies in the fields, where the men had died in awful agony.
