THE ATTACK ON MR. CHURCHILL. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, August 23. The Pall Mall Gazette strenuously protests against the Standard's attacks on Mr. Churchill. It asks why it should mislead the country by insinuating the belief that Mr. Churchill was responsible for the orders issued by Admiral Bridgeman, who is entursted with the strategical control of the Navy.
