AX ELECTION PETITION. By Cable —Press Association.—Copyright Melbourne, August 24. The Elections Qualifications Committee of the Legislative Assembly, regarding the petition of Sir Henry Weedon against the return of Alfred Farthing for East Melbourne, passed a resolution that Jlr. Farthing himself and by his agents and other persons on his behalf was guilty of illegal practices.
