MURDER BY A WOMAN.
A JURY DENOUNCED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Cliicago, August 22. When Chicago jurymen found Mrs. Florence Bernstein, accused of murdering her husband while he was sleeping, not guilty, State-Attorney Wcyman denounced the jury violently, pointing out that the woman's only explanation was that she could recall nothing before or after the shooting. Mr. Wcyman declared that women were rarely convicted in the United States when tried before a male jury, and the only remedy "was to empanel women jurors. Only women could read a woman's heart. The interests of justice demanded women jurors.
