Five mutineers at Tashkend have been sentenced to death, and 112 to varying period of penal servitude, 79 to hard: labor. Fifteen have been sent to the disciplinary battalion, and seven acquitted on the charges arising out of the recent sappers' mutiny. THE NORTHERN TERRITORY. London, August 22. The Commonwealth is making known through the newspapers the new policy in connection with and the agricultural prospects of the Northern Territory.
