SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Pre?g Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m. to-day:—Summary.—Fair to cloudv weather has prevailed, but showerv "conditions are reported about East Cape. The barometer is still high everywhere. Easterly winds, moderate to strong, have predominated. Forecast—Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere soon, with freshening northerlv and easterly winds. Fair to elofldy and hazy weather i» probable generally, but a change may be looked for about Sunday.
