L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—We had a good entry on Saturday, and good prices were realised throughout. A keen demand still con■tinues for table birds. Prices wore as follows: —Hens (ordinary) Is (kl to Is lOd, fat 2s to 2s Od, pullets 2 3 lOd to 3s od. cockerels Is 8d to 3s (according to size and condition), roosters la 5(1 to 2s Id, ducks 2s to 2s 7d, drakes 2s 4d to 2s fld, geese 3s 3d to 4s 6d, turkey hens'4s (id to os 3d. In the mart we disposed of a large catalogue of household furniture at satisfactory prices. Fruit, —Very little to report. Apples have not been coming in in such large quantities, and consequently prices have hardened. We quote: Apples (Stunners, bust) 9s to 9s Gd, others 7s (id to 8s (id, Doughertys 8s to 8s 6d, Rokewoods 7s to Bs, cookers tis to Os tid, oranges (re-packs) 13s 6d- to 14s, bananas (ripe) 3d per lb, passions (small cases) 4s. On Thursday last we held a clearing sale on 'account of Mr. W. firidiths. There-was a good attendance and prices were satisfactory.

LOCAL MARKETS. Butchers' Meat. Beef: Sirloin, 6d; prime ribs, sd; rump »teak, Sd; beef irom 3d to Cd; corned beef, 4d and S«S. .Mutton: Legs. 6d; chops, fid; loin, sd; shoulders, sd; necks, 3d. Veal, 3d to 3d per lb. Sausages: Beef sd, pork M. Lambs: Legs, 6d; forequarters, 4a 6d: hindquarters, 5s 6d. Pork: Fresh 7(1 and 8d per lb. Fowls, 5b to <3s per pair; ducks, 6s per pair. Dripping, 6d per lb. These prices are for cash only; y 3 d per lb for booking over one week.
